Great — no B— this Friday. What's weird is that the guy B— asked about on Monday who ordered a coffee and sat under the clock came in again, ordered the same thing and sat in the same place. This time he stayed a lot longer though.
So, B—. This happens all the time when you work in a bar, of course. A guy comes in and you get interested in him for whatever reason. He comes back once or twice, then either comes in again with his girlfriend or you never see him again. The flipside is the guy who shows up, bugs you for some reason, and then comes back at the same time and sits in the same place every day for a month. Or six. You get used to these situations pretty fast working in a bar, but I have to admit it — I've got a fucking crush on this guy. It's that simple. There's no special reason. It's just a crush.
The day went by much faster than it would have otherwise because Kelly came by early afternoon. She's in such a rut. When's she going to leave him? She's 23 — should be having the time of her life and she's stuck with some drug dealer loser guy who doesn't give two shits about her. I guess she'll snap out of it at some point. Anyway, she was in a good mood for a change. She told me a hilarious joke I wish I could remember. Something about a penguin blowing a seal.
