Went out with Kelly and John to Ze Laziumm. B— was really funny. He said he was in favour of bringing back the woolly mammoth (à la Jurassic Park) and letting herds of them roam northern Quebec as a stimulus to the tourist industry. I was more worried that the mammoths would end up meeting the same fate as the first time around than about the havoc they might cause in native communities. B— said he thought they were friendly, just like hairy elephants, but I'm not so sure. Maybe it's his Neanderthal heritage talking!
Kelly and John seem to be getting on really well, which is scary. It crossed my mind to tell them about the baby, but I think I'll wait another couple of weeks. Kelly did a double-take when I said I was feeling a bit weird and as a result didn't want to drink any alcohol. I'm really happy I'm having this baby now. B— is a great guy.
